Solid sand filter cleaner 1kg

Special cleaner for desalination and internal cleaning of sand filters.

Solid cleaner specially designed for the elimination of limestone coatings, residues, organic and mineral sediments that over time form and adhere to the filter and the various surfaces of the pool of polyester and fiberglass. It works by penetrating and quickly removing stains from rust, smoke and various dirt. Solid with acidic properties, the use of which eliminates the crusts produced by the salts and dirt present in the pool water and deposited in the sand filters. The number of backwashes usually performed on a filter is usually not enough to remove all the particles deposited on them, with the result that the filter does not filter the water properly.

Periodic filter cleaning

Insert 0.5 kg into the pump pre-filter or skimmer, place the filter valve in the filter position and operate the filter for a short time so that the dissolved product reaches the inside of the filter, then stop the filter and leave it for about 1 hour and then perform an intense backwash.

Annual filter cleaning

A) Completely drain the water from inside the filter. B) Open the filter at the top and pour in a solution of 10% = 1 kg of product for every 10 liters of water, making sure it is as much as possible. The solution should cover the load of the filter. C) Leave the product to react for about 8 hours. Close the filter and then do an intense wash-rinse.
