AstralPool Chlorine Stabilizer helps prolong the disinfecting action of chlorine in swimming pool water by reducing chlorine loss caused by sunlight. It complements the pool’s chlorination programme. The required dose depends on the pool volume and the existing cyanuric acid concentration.
Directions based on the product label:
At the beginning of the season, add 400 g per 10 m³ of water, equivalent to an increase of approximately 40 ppm cyanuric acid. Check the existing concentration before dosing.
With the filtration system running, place the dose in the skimmer or pump prefilter, as directed on the label.
Maintain a concentration of 30–60 ppm, without exceeding 75 ppm. If this limit is exceeded, partially replace the pool water.
For Redox control, the label specifies a maximum concentration of 20 ppm; the standard initial dose above must therefore be adjusted.
Keep out of reach of children and follow the packaging instructions.
