Liquid filter cleaner 5lt

Liquid detergent specially designed for cleaning the inside of sand filters.

FEATURES: Suitable for cleaning filters made of stainless steel or polyester. It does not create foam. It produces effervescence as the lime dissolves. Easy to apply and easily rinse under running water.

DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: This treatment only applies to filters with a silex or sand filtration load. With the filter standing and uncovered, drain all the water from inside the filter through the lower valve. Close the drain valve and pour 2 liters of water through the mouth of the filter followed by 2 liters of product for every 10 kg of sand, to cover the level of sand by 20 to 30 cm. Allow the product to react with the lime and dirt present in the filter. When effervescence (bubbles) stops after a precautionary time (approximately 4 to 8 hours), close the filter cover, move the valve tap to the wash position and flush the filter to rinse it. Stop after the precautionary period (approximately 4-8 hours) close the filter cover, move the valve bolt to the wash position and pass water through the filter to rinse it.

The rinsing water must be poured directly into the drain. During rinsing it must be checked that the pH of the emerging wastewater is the same as that of the incoming water. When it reaches this point, the filter cleaning process can be considered complete.

After inspecting the filter, repeat the treatment if any sticky or hardened sand remains.
